Configuration and Administration - Qualifiers

This feature provides you with a greatly improved Configuration and Administration Qualifiers UI, which has been redesigned to simplify and improve the process for creating, editing and viewing your Remark Qualifiers and your Remark Qualifiers Asset Attributes. 

You can navigate to the new UI via Configuration and Administration > Configuration > Configuration and Administration Qualifiers.

From the Configuration and Administration UI - select which Qualifier option you wish to work with - as shown below.

You will notice, that after selecting the Remarks Qualifier option that all of the available results are displayed - which is a change from the Finder and Finder Result pattern used elsewhere in the application.  This improved pattern starts with all of the available results returned and then allows you to simply filter the result set down to the list of results you are interested in.

In the example below, the list of Remark Qualifiers shown has been filtered down to only those results where the Remark Qualifier record contains the OOTB characters.

In the example below, only the Remark Qualifiers have been filtered down to the set that contains both public and payment.  This was accomplished by entering the search criteria public and payment in the Search. Note that the values entered for the Search are called Filter Chips and the condition between the filter chips entered is an AND, so the filter interpretation is public AND payment.

To Add a new record, you select + Add.

  After selecting + Add, a blank row appears, as shown below, which allows you to enter the information for the new record.

After you enter your data for the new record, you select the Save and Close (check mark) to save the entry, or you can select the close option (x) to cancel the entry.

The Pencil icon initiates the Edit process - the Actions available for Edit include - Save and Close (check), Cancel (x) and Delete (trash can), as shown below.

The same navigation described above for the Remark Qualifiers is available for managing your Remark Qualifiers Asset Attributes.  All of the available Remark Qualifiers Asset Attributes values will be shown when you select the Remark Qualifiers Asset Attributes option - as shown below.

The Configuration and Administration Qualifiers UI provides a number of usability improvements for creating, editing, moving and deleting your Remark Qualifiers.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

Note that the legacy Power Data screens for both Remark Qualifiers and Remark Qual Asset Attributes are still available via Configuration and Administration > Power Data > Qualifiers.
