Relay Facility Code Error in Inventory Transactions
Providing improved visibility and traceability for facilities, we’ve added an enhanced error-handling feature for our integration with Inventory Management from WMS. Previously, in a multi-facility environment, identifying the source of an error could be challenging and time-consuming. With our latest update, we have addressed this challenge by appending the facility code/organization code to the error message relayed back from Inventory Management. This means that when an error occurs, you will immediately know which facility it originated from.
Facility Code Error
For example, let's say an error occurs during an inventory transaction and Inventory Management returns an error message indicating an invalid item attribute. The error message will now include the facility code, making it clear which facility the error is associated with:
"Error in Facility: M3 - The value provided for the Item attribute is invalid because the item is not transactable, not shippable, or not defined in the organization."
This added context streamlines the troubleshooting process, enabling you to quickly identify and address issues specific to a particular facility. This enhancement is available in the Oracle WMS INV Inventory Transactions integration and can be accessed through the Pending Transactions web UI.
