This feature adds to the list of objects on the Enhanced Workbench that can be configured to support inline edit and mass update for reference numbers and remarks.

The enabled functionality is demonstrated below using the order release as an example.  The capability has been implemented consistently across all the enabled objects.

In the order release example, a remark and a reference number have been configured. The required configuration is provided in the “Steps to Enable” section.

Mass Update

In the first example, the configured “Remark” and “Reference Number” fields will be updated using Mass Update. In this case, you can click the Mass Update icon when three rows are selected to initiate the mass update.

In the example below, the “REM1 field” will be updated with the value “Monday” and the “REFNUM1” field will be updated with “101”.

The result of the action is below, the selected rows have been updated with the Mass Update values.

Inline Editing

In the example below, the same fields “REM1” and “REFNUM1” will be updated with different values to demonstrate the inline editing capability.

In the first step you click into and enter the desired values, as shown below.

When you have completed your inline edits, select the Save icon as shown below.

The Inline Edit Results will display the saved records once completed, as shown below.

This feature extends the benefits of inline edit and mass update for pseudo fields to include more object. 

Steps to Enable

To take advantage of the newly enabled feature, the Screen Set configured in your enhanced workbench should be configured with the desired pseudo fields (such as “Remark” or “Reference Number”) and the configured fields should then be set up to support editing.

In the Order Release Screen Set example below, the “Remark” field with Qualifier “REM” and the “Reference Number” (RefNum) field with Qualifier “BM” have been configured as pseudo fields on the Screen Set, as shown below.

Then, you can select the “Edit” option for each of the pseudo fields. Once the Edit option is selected, this will enable both the “Mass Update” and “Inline Edit” options.
