Detect Invalid Classification Using Code
This optional feature, when enabled, allows you to use the new Classification Code column instead of Classification Code GID when using the Update Classification Version process within Classification > Process Management > Product Classification > Update Classification Version. This feature continues to expand the usage of the new classification code column which was introduced in a previous release.
- If the optional feature is set to false, when a new version of classification data is loaded into GTM, the Product Classification Code GID associated with a Product Classification Type is used to detect if an item classification is no longer valid and sets the status to "Classification Invalid".
- If the optional feature is set to true, when a new version of classification data is loaded into GTM, the Classification Code column is used to detect if an item classification is no longer valid and sets the status to "Classification Invalid".
