Minimize VPD Database Roundtrips on Read

This Optional Feature, when enabled, will share a single database connection across various read operations to minimize roundtrips due to VPD security.

This feature provides improves performance by reducing the the overhead of VPD related read operations.

Steps to Enable

If you need to change the Opt In state for this feature:

• Go to the Optional Feature UI - Configuration and Administration > Property Management > Optional Features.

Your user must have the DBA.ADMIN user role to use this functionality.

• Select the Minimize VPD Database Roundtrips on Read feature.

• Run the desired Action for the feature - Opt In or Opt Out.
