This feature enables GTM to remove the Review User and Review Date in certain instances when the item classification status changes. When the status is set to Classification Created using an action/agent action or via data entered in the Item Classification manager, GTM removes the Review User and Review Date if they are present. This enhancement addresses a few different use cases:

  • A classification code is created and a user has reviewed and set the status to Classification Approved or Classification Declined. The Review User and Review Date are also added at this time. At a later date, the classification code is modified, the status is set back to Classification Created and the Review User and Review Date are removed.
  • The tariff is updated and a classification code is removed from the tariff. When this happens, GTM sets the status to Classification Invalid. A user then researches and changes the existing classification code to the new code. The status is set back to Classification Created and the Review User and Review Date are removed.
