Digital Freight Broker External Quote ID Processing - Oracle Business Network

This feature supports the end-to-end processing between OTM and Oracle Business Network (OBN) for capturing and process your Digital Freight Broker/Service Provider provided External Quote ID that the Digital Freight Broker provides in their response to a Spot Bid Tender.  In the supported use case, the provided External Quote ID and Value will be copied to the spot bid tendered shipment, when the Digital Freight Broker is awarded the shipment.

In the example below, the Digital Freight Broker - in this case UBER - provided an EXTERNAL_QUOTE_ID and Value with their External Rating Engine response to the Spot Bid Tender. The provided EXTERNAL_QUOTE_ID and value was copied to the shipment as a Shipment Reference Number and Value when UBER was awarded the shipment.

This feature simplifies the process of linking the Digital Freight Brokers original quote response to the awarded Shipment.
