Service Time Adjustment Factor

This factor adjusts the transit time for three types of rate services. This allows you to speed up or slow down the calculated service time by a factor. This factor only applies to External Drive, Lookup, and Simulation. The factor is configured on the Rate Service. It does NOT alter data nor is it cached.

Allows you to adjust the transit times that you receive from an External Service Engine. This padding factor can model the case where you want the driver and truck to arrive ahead of a delivery to avoid a penalty for being late. It is not a fixed amount of time but is a factor. One is the default value and the typical case is to set it to 1.05 for a 5% padding factor. Likewise, the transit can be sped up with a factor less than one. (0.95)
