Multi-Stop Diagnosis

This enhancement provides a way to look at the details of the multi-stop heuristic for sequential and concurrent savings. At each pairing in the consolidation, a record is made that shows the savings calculations. This is very helpful for diagnostics as it reveals which pairings produce the greatest savings. There is a new parameter to activate the diagnostics.

A button is provided to allow you to download the matrix, which contains additional details.

Diagnostics of the multi-stop pairing process provides valuable insight into the client setup of rates, especially if the anticipated results are not being presented.  Time-wise it is almost impossible to manually recreate the cost of each cell since the client would need to calculate the direct costs of the two candidate direct shipments and the cost of the proposed consolidated shipment and the savings.  This is a lot of work, but it is now done quickly.  This tool will be helpful for clients, support, and development as it provides information that has not been accessible before.

This process is good for small to medium sized examples. It is helpful when configuring rates as it provides details that would otherwise be ignored since they are hard to obtain.

There is also a new enhancement that limits the size of the files to 60 MB. The file will be truncated when the limit is reached.
