New Property to Configure More Than One Chapter 98-99 Code
This feature allows you to identify penalty and exemption rates as part of harmonized tariff modeling. You can add special program codes, penalty codes, and penalty exemption codes to your items, making it easier to model Section 301 and 232 penalty tariff rates.
To enable this capability, use the property: gtm.itemClassification.moreThanOne9899HtsItemClassification. Previously, this was controlled through the optional feature “MORE THAN ONE 98-99 HTS ITEM CLASSIFICATION.”
When this property is set to “true”, you can assign multiple Chapter 98-99 harmonized tariff codes to items, transaction lines, and declaration lines.
For greater flexibility, the optional feature has been removed and replaced by this GTM property. The default value for the property is “false.” For existing customers who had previously enabled the optional feature, the property will automatically be set to “true” to ensure consistent GTM functionality.
Business Benefit: This enhancement provides you with flexibility and continuity in configuring GTM in support chapter 98-99 classification codes.
Steps to Enable and Configure
