Additional Global Trade Operational Intelligence Subject Areas

This feature introduces additional Global Trade Operational Intelligence subject areas, allowing you to access data in GTM to create queries, reports, dashboards, and data visualizations tailored to your business needs. Global Trade Operational Intelligence delivers a business intelligence solution that leverages your operational data, enabling comprehensive analysis of global trade processes.

You can access the new Global Trade Operational Intelligence subject areas from the Global Trade Intelligence menu. To get started, navigate to Global Trade Intelligence > Ad Hoc Query. The following folders have been added, each containing child folders related to specific objects. The data is organized using a star schema, maintaining parent-child relationships as in the database:

• Trade Transaction Line Analysis: Analyze trade transaction lines and their related tables, such as Product Classification, Assigned Licenses, Control Screening Results, Required Documents, Quantities, Values, Qualifications, and more.
• Declaration Line Analysis: Analyze declaration lines and their related tables, including Product Classification, Required Documents, Quantities, Values, Qualifications, and others.

Global Trade Intelligence Subject Areas

Business Benefit: This feature enhances Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) by introducing Trade Transaction Line and Declaration Line as new Global Trade Operational Intelligence subject areas. These subject areas provide users with robust business intelligence tools, enabling in-depth analysis, reporting, and visualization of global trade data directly from GTM’s operational data. 

Steps to Enable and Configure

For a user who needs access to Global Trade Operational Intelligence, navigate to User Manager and add a Business Intelligence Application = GTOI.
