Grouped Table - By Columns - Detail Table Grouping

This feature adds the "Group Table - By Columns" option for your Detail Table providing you the option of selecting the columns to use for grouping your detailed tables.  Previously, for detail tables, the grouped combined detail would be grouped by the associated parent records, with this enhancement you now have the option to select the columns to group by for your detail tables independent from any parent table groupings.

In the example below, the Parent table  - Buy Shipments - is Grouped by the Destination City, while the Detail Table - Shipment Cost  - is Grouped by Cost Type.

Business Benefit: This feature allows you to group your detail table records by fields other than the parent ID table, providing you with greater flexibility to organize data in ways that best fit your business needs.

Steps to Enable and Configure

To take advantage of this feature you will need to create or modify an existing Enhanced Workbench and set the Combined Detail Type to "Grouped Table - By Columns" and configure the Groupings you would like to use for the Detail table - as shown below.
