Enable Dynamic Rate Unit Breaks Cache

This Optional Feature, when enabled, will switch the Rate Unit Break Profile data from being managed in a static cache to a dynamic cache. While the Rate Unit Break Profiles were initially stored in a static cache due to their infrequent updates, today’s transportation environment requires faster, more frequent changes to Dynamic Rate Unit Profiles. By moving to a dynamic cache, OTM ensures that Rate Unit Break data remains current and accurately reflects the latest Rate Unit Break data.

Business Benefit: By moving to a dynamic cache, OTM ensures that Rate Unit Break data is updated to provide the most current rating information throughout the application.

Steps to Enable and Configure

If you need to change the Opt In state for this feature:

• Go to the Optional Feature UI - Configuration and Administration > Property Management > Optional Features.

Your user must have the DBA.ADMIN user role to use this functionality.

• Select the Enable Dynamic Rate Unit Breaks Cache feature.
• Run the Action to Opt Out, assuming there is an issue with the enabled functionality.
