Cycle counting improvements
Cycle count reviews are now easier to analyze and audit, reducing unnecessary investigation of records where inventory has simply moved between LPNs or locations. The enhancements help supervisors focus on genuine discrepancies, improve reconciliation between WMS and ERP, and route recount work to the right warehouse users.
Clearer Cycle Count Adjustment analysis
The Cycle Count Adjustment Header now includes three calculated columns for reserve-location counts in both LPN Scan and Detailed Count modes:
| New Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Total LPNs expected | Number of LPNs the system expected at the location |
| Expected LPNs counted | Expected LPNs that were actually scanned |
| Unanticipated LPNs counted | LPNs scanned that were not expected at that location |
Better control over recount assignments
Supervisors and inventory managers can now assign recount tasks during a cycle count rejection, helping ensure that a recount is performed by an appropriate user rather than automatically returning to the original counter.
The new recount-task-assign-user screen parameter is available in the CCAdjustmentHdrView module. When enabled:
- Item-driven header rejections display an Assigned User field in the task-type prompt.
- Detail-level rejections display an Assigned User field in the task-type prompt.
- Location-driven rejections prompt for an assigned user when the recount cycle count trigger is enabled.
The Reject and Bulk Reject CC Adjustment APIs also support the new assign_user option.

Steps to enable and configure
- In CCAdjustmentHdrView, set recount-task-assign-user to enable user assignment for recount tasks created through rejection.
- Configure task-type-description and, optionally, task-type-priority to create detailed cycle count tasks automatically when an LPN-count or quantity discrepancy is detected.
