Web Report usage visibility
Customers now have greater visibility into Web Report usage, making it easier to understand report activity, analyze execution performance, and troubleshoot long-running reports. A new report execution audit dataset captures when reports are run, who runs them, and their execution status, helping customers monitor usage while giving System Administrators and Support teams better information for operational troubleshooting.
Existing Web Reports continue to operate without changes to their report content or output.
Report execution tracking
Each interactive and scheduled Web Report execution is recorded in the report execution audit dataset. The audit information includes:
| Audit Information | Description |
|---|---|
| Report name | Name of the Web Report executed |
| User | User who executed the report |
| Company | Company context, when available |
| Facility | Facility context, when available |
| Start date/time | When report execution started |
|
Completion date/time |
When report execution completed |
| Execution status | Current or final status of the report execution |
With this information, customers can create self-service reports to analyze execution history by report name, user, company, facility, date/time, and status. Report performance can also be evaluated by calculating execution duration from the captured start and completion timestamps.
