IMPORTANT Actions and Considerations
The following are important actions and considerations to review for 26D:
- Transition From Legacy SOAP to REST API Integrations for FedEx and UPS Shipping Services
- Migrate Attachments to your Customer-Hosted Object Store Buckets
- Deprecation of SSH-Based RF
- Deprecation of .XLS Format
TRANSITION FROM LEGACY SOAP TO REST API INTEGRATIONS FOR FedEx and UPS SHIPPING SERVICES
As previously announced, support for SOAP-based interfaces was being removed in future releases. Starting with 26D, SOAP-based based carrier integrations will not be supported. Please make sure to migrate to REST-based carrier integrations.
MIGRATE ATTACHMENTS TO YOUR CUSTOMER-HOSTED OBJECT STORE BUCKETS
In 26D, we will be ending support for Oracle's Storage if still in use by any of our customers. Please use the instructions to migrate your attachments as documented in the steps provided in Upload Attachments to OCI Object Store.
DEPRECATION OF SSH-BASED RF
As of January 2026, new customers are not offered SSH-based RF. Redwood Mobile WMS is the replacement. All new customers are being encouraged to use Redwood Mobile WMS from the beginning.
Existing customers can continue to use SSH based RF for a further year. It will be retired starting January 2027 per the following schedule:
- January 2027 – Cohort 1 customers
- April 2027 – Cohort 2 customers
- July 2027 – Cohort 3 customers
DEPRECATION OF .XLS FORMAT
Input interface supports both .xls and .xlsx formats even though .xls was a format that Microsoft replaced with .xlsx in 2007. Support for the outdated .xls format will be deprecated in 26D. Customers should switch to .xlsx which is a simple save option in Excel. In addition, any issues reported regarding .xls format will not be handled from 26D onwards. Please use .xlsx instead.
