Sandbox Usage Limits - Contact Records
Starting with 25B, users will notice warning notifications on the main Eloqua entry page within their Eloqua Sandbox if the maximum contact limit (10,000 contacts) has been reached.
As a reminder, Eloqua Sandbox environments come with usage limits on contact/account records, email sends, etc. With 25C (August 2025), Eloqua will start enforcing the usage limit of a maximum of 10,000 contact records per Sandbox.
In preparation, starting with 25B, users will notice warning notifications on the main Eloqua entry page within their Eloqua Sandbox if the maximum contact limit has been reached.
Warning Notification
25C will bring enforcement by restricting creation of contact records beyond the limit:
- All manual and automated processes will fail to create contact records once the limit of 10,000 is reached. Update to existing contact records will still be possible though
- For example, the Create button in Contacts area will be disabled upon reaching the limit
Steps to Enable
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
