Sandbox Usage Limits Enforced - Contact Records
With 25C, Eloqua will start enforcing the usage limit of a maximum of 10,000 contact records per Sandbox.
- 25C will bring enforcement by restricting creation of contact records beyond the limit
- All manual and automated processes will fail to create contact records once the limit of 10,000 is reached. Update to existing contact records will still be possible
- Examples include:
- Creating a contact through the UI will return an error
- Creating a contact through upload or bulk API will reject new contacts when a limit is reached, existing contacts will be updated
- Form processing steps will fail if that form was creating a contact past the limit
- Custom object record services will fail if the service attempts to create a contact
- Application API endpoints will return “409 Sandbox Limit Exceeded”
Users will notice warning notifications on the main Eloqua entry page within their Eloqua Sandbox if the maximum contact limit has been reached.
