WhatsApp/RCS Enhancements

Capture message intent in CED

WhatsApp and RCS partners capture inbound messages and post the payload back to Responsys. Oracle Responsys now captures the permission preference as subscriber intent. This attribute will indicate if there is a specific “opt-out/in” keyword in the incoming message. The “Intent Keyword” will be available in the WhatsApp and RCS received event feed.

Filters

Now create filters using WhatsApp and RCS behaviors including:

  • Profile List
  • App Channel List
  • Web Push Channel List
  • WA Pet - WA_<<PROFILE_LIST_NAME>>
  • RCS Pet - RCS_<<PROFILE_LIST_NAME>>

Business Benefit:

  • Gain deeper insight into customer interactions across WhatsApp and RCS by automatically capturing messaging intent and leveraging channel-specific behaviors for segmentation.

Steps to enable and configure

  • To use these enhancements, you must have installed and are using a partner app for WhatsApp/RCS.
