Set Up OCI Process Automation Integration

As your implementation adopts Oracle Could Infrastructure Process Automation (OCI Process Automation), to manage workflow and fee decision models, you will be required to complete a set of one-time set up tasks on each of your pods to configure integration between Oracle Permitting and Licensing and OCI Process Automation.

There is a new task in Functional Setup Manager in the Initial Set Up functional area named "Set Up OCI Process Automation Integration". Click the Help icon to navigate directly to the documented steps in the Oracle Permitting and Licensing documentation.

Setting up OCI process automation integration is integral to the implementation of Oracle Permitting and Licensing.

Steps to Enable

The setup tasks include:

  • Creating a trusted user in the identity domain on Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) for OCI Process Automation.
  • Creating a group with the trusted user in the identity domain for the purpose of assigning access to OCI Process Automation.
  • Assigning various groups on the identity domain to the appropriate application roles for OCI Process Automation.
  • Creating an OAuth application on the identity domain for OCI Process Automation callbacks to Oracle Permitting and Licensing.
  • Creating global OAuth credentials on OCI Process Automation to assign to the connectors used within the workflow process definitions.
