Schedule Inspections on Completed Business License Transactions

Agency staff can schedule new inspections on completed business license transactions including origination, amendment, and renewal.

From the Transactions page, select a business license row with completed status.

The Add Inspection button is now enabled on the Inspections page.

Click the Add Inspection button to schedule a new inspection.

Licenses are normally completed as they are awarded. This prevents the recurring or other inspections from being scheduled. This feature allows agencies to continue the inspections on the completed license.

Steps to Enable

You need to update your security to allow users to add inspections for Business License applications when the application status is "Complete". Users who already had the security privileges for Business License transactions will be able to add inspections for completed Business License transactions.

Tips And Considerations

There is no impact to Permits with this feature. Within Permits, inspections can't be created when the status is Completed or Certificate of Occupancy (COO). 

The Add Inspection action is also available in the Oracle Inspector web application on mobile devices for inspectors and inspector supervisors only.
