Attachment Added by Responsible Party Triggers Communication Event

You can use a new Business Rule Framework event or Communication Framework event named Code Enforcement Case Document Attached (CE_CASE_ATTACHMENT_UPLOADED).

For a business rule, the event can trigger these actions:

• Send communication
• Relay to OIC

Provides automatic communication whenever a responsible party uploads an attachment to a code case.

Steps to Enable

We have delivered the business rules framework event, CE_CASE_ATTACHMENT_UPLOADED. You will need to set up this event in Business Rules Framework and as a communication event in order to send a communication when attachments are uploaded.

To enable:

1. Navigate to Common Setup > Business Rules Framework. 
2. Select the Code Enforcement tile. 
3. Select Code Enforcement Case Document Attached. 
4. Under Business Rules, click the plus icon to add a business rule. 
5. Enter the rule name and rule description.
6. Under Action, select Send Communication and/or Relay to OIC. 
7. When you select Send Communication, click on the "Configure" link. 
8. Configure the communication event as desired. 
9. Click Done. 
10. Turn on the Enable switch.
11. Click Save.
