OTBI Subject Area Updates
Several key enhancements and changes have been made to the OTBI subject areas within Oracle Permitting and Licensing. These updates improve usability, align attribute naming conventions, introduce relevant new metrics, and streamline folder structures for better data organization. Changes were made to the following subject areas:
- Workflow Activities
- Plan Review Real Time
- Permit Inspection Activity Real Time
Workflow Activities Subject Area
The following attributes have been renamed for clarity and consistency:

The following attributes will no longer be visible:
- Agency ID
- Creation Date
- Last Updated Date
The following new attributes have been added to enhance reporting capabilities:
- System Status
- Priority
- Due Date
A new folder has been added: Task Info. Task, process, and associated transaction information is available in this dimension.
A new dimension has been added: Task Assignee. New attributes pertaining to user and task information is available in this dimension.
The following new metrics have been added to the existing Fact-Workflow Activities:
- Count of tasks performing Request Info activity
- Count of tasks performing Info Submit activity
- Count of tasks in Unassigned Status
- Tasks in Unassigned Status greater than 10 days
- Count of tasks in the same status for more than 30 days
- Duration of Completed Transactions
- Duration of In Progress Transactions
Plan Review Real Time Subject Area
A new subfolder under the Transaction folder has been added: Applicant. This ensures consistent structure across subject areas and makes applicant related data easier to access.
Permit Inspection Activity Real Time Subject Area
A new subfolder under the Transaction dimension folder has been added: Applicant. This ensures consistent structure across subject areas and makes the applicant related data easier to access.
The Permit Dimension has been hidden reduce redundancy or outdated references.
These improvements help usability and align with Oracle standards.
