AI Assist on Inspector Application Pages

Agencies can now add access to AI agents by embedding the AI Assist button for agency staff in the Inspector Application for mobile devices. These pages are now extensible and can be configured with an agency-configured agent:

  • Inspection Tasks page - The landing page when an inspector opens the Inspector Application.
  • Inspection overview panel  - The inspection-level summary information when an inspector drills into the inspection details.
  • Inspection Result page - The page for providing inspection results, comments, and signatures after completing checklists, depending on agency setup.

This allows you to add AI assist to Inspector application pages where and when you need it.

Tips And Considerations

For agency staff to use AI Assist, the Functional Setup Manager option "Enable AI Functionality for Permits” or "Enable AI Functionality for Business Licenses” must be enabled.

Agency creates the agent from the agent template in the AI Studio. Then the agency updates the agent name for use when embedding the AI Assist button on extensible pages.
