Invoice Date in Legal Entity's Time Zone
You can now send the bill lines to Receivables in the time zone the subscription's legal entity belongs to.
- The revenue will be reported in the correct accounting period.
Steps to Enable
- The profile option Enable Legal Entity Time Zone should be set to Yes.
- A time zone should be assigned to the Legal Entity's identifying address.
- The profile option Convert Subscription Dates to Legal Entity Time Zone should be set to Yes.
Tips And Considerations
- When the profile option Convert Subscription Dates to Legal Entity Time Zone is set to Yes, it is assumed that the dates entered by the user in the subscription are already in the legal entity time zone.
- The interface date in the bill lines is also converted to the legal entity's time zone.
- Already existing bill lines will not be updated with the interface date and invoice date as per the profile option. However, when the bill lines are interfaced to Receivables then the date when interfaced will be converted into the Legal Entity Time Zone and sent to Receivables.
