View Explanations for predictions of Sales machine learning models

Sales users can now view explanations for the prediction outcomes of Sales machine learning models that they build. Explanations include top factors that are positively impacting the prediction as well as top factors that are negatively impacting the prediction.

Sales machine learning predictions along with explanations will provide sales users with added insight into the predictions and top impacting factors. Sales users can take appropriate actions to mitigate any negatively impacting factors. They can also utilise the insights from top positive factors to devise sales strategy playing to their unique strengths. 

Steps to Enable

Follow these steps to build Sales machine learning model and review prediction explanations

  1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance task for Configure Sales machine learning.
  2. Create a new model by either duplicating a system record or creating new from scratch.
  3. Use the guided step process to build new machine learning model for predicting outcome.
  4. Specify success criteria while building the model.
  5. You can now review the model outcome from review step in the guided process for model building and deployment. When you select a record to review prediction, you will be able to view explanations for the prediction as well.

User needs below privilege for building sales machine learning models

  1. Manage Sales Machine Learning (ZCA_MANAGE_SALES_MACHINE_LEARNING_PRIV)
