Redwood Quote UI

Oracle CPQ 24B introduced the Redwood Quotes List page to enhance the user experience and align with other Oracle products. Beginning in Oracle CPQ 24D, customers can also enable the redesigned Redwood Quote UI. The Redwood Quote UI supports existing functionality and provides additional usability, such as:

  • Improved navigation and user interface for easier access to quote details

  • Comprehensive and consolidated view of all relevant information, reducing the need for multiple screens

  • Simplified and modernized design to enhance user satisfaction and reduce training time

  • Quick access to frequently used actions to streamline the quoting process

Line Item Grid

The new Redwood Products and Pricing view provides familiar spreadsheet-like interface and functionalities for the Line Item Grid. This interface provides the following user functionality:

  • Quick access for editing of line items with a single click, streamlining the update process.

  • Advanced robust filtering options to quickly locate specific line items based on various criteria.

  • Line item data is dynamically loaded as you scroll, maintaining fast performance even with large datasets.

Product Search

The new Add Products action allows users to search and then add parts, models, BOMs, and Favorites to a quote from a single consolidated page.

Quote Approval Flow

The new Redwood Quote UI also streamlines the quote approval process. Sales users can use the Notifications shortcut to quickly access all pending and completed approvals from a single, easy-to-navigate My Approval Search. Approval items display clear visual indicators, status updates, and a complete audit trail of the approval process with reasons for approval or rejection.

The Redwood Quote UI delivers a simplified and discoverable quoting experience for sales users with predefined and configurable milestone guidance and tracking. It provides in-context guided selling, product selection, and faster access to critical information through improved search and filtering capabilities.
