Retain Sales Credits on Renewal

Sales credits will be automatically copied over to the renewed subscription upon renewal. A new renewal template attribute Copy sales credits indicates if the sales credits will be copied upon renewal. This is applicable for both manual and automatic renewal. Upon copying the sales credits validations will be performed to check if the salesperson is active upon renewal and if the total of sales credit is equal to 100%.

New validations have been introduced to check if the salesperson is active and if the total of sales credits is equal to 100%. These validations can be disabled, and their severity can be updated.

1. Continuity of sales credits when subscription is renewed.

2. Validate if salesperson is active during renewal.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

1. When there is consolidation during the renewal, the total of sales credits can be more than 100%. The sales credit has to be manually corrected before activating the subscription.
2. The sales credit at product has higher precedence than subscription header. So, the sales credit is copied to the product when consolidating subscriptions during renewal.
3. The sales credit in the subscription headers are not copied to the consolidated subscription header.
