Support All Adjustment Types for Usage Charges
You can now use the Price override, Markup amount, and Discount amount adjustment types for usage charges. The Price Waterfall now shows the correct adjustment amount considering the usage quantity.

Consider the following adjustments on this usage charge.
Price Adjustments
The Price Waterfall at the bill lines now shows the adjustment amounts considering the usage quantity of 50 minutes.

The adjustment MPA2 is calculated as 50 x (6-15) = (-)450.
The adjustment MPA5 is calculated as 50 x 2 = 100.
The adjustment MPA3 is calculated as 50 x (-)3= (-)150.
- The Price Waterfall now shows the adjustment due to Price override correctly considering the usage quantity.
- The Price Waterfall now shows the adjustment due to Markup amount correctly considering the usage quantity.
- The Price Waterfall now shows the adjustment due to Discount amount correctly considering the usage quantity.
- The rating source system can be defaulted based on a profile option and need not be specified in the usage events import file for pre-rated events.
Steps to Enable
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips And Considerations
- Set the profile option Default Value for Rating Source to set the rating source system for pre-rated events, when the source is not passed in the usage events record.
- New source systems can be added in the lookup ORA_OSS_USAGE_RATING_SOURCE.
