Export Only Relevant Fields for a Price Model

Export of a Price Model, Matrix, or Agreement directly from the UI is a highly valued pricing function for CPQ customers. However, customers may not be using every field defined for the model (e.g. Service Duration, Rate Plans, Block Sizes). Oracle CPQ 25D provides additional functionality that allows customer pricing architects to define the columns that are included in the export for each Price Model, Matrix, or Agreement.

If a Price Model or a Price Agreement supports import / export, the current user has Full Access to this Price Model or Price Agreement, the Export Settings menu item is available in the Actions drop-down.

When an administrator selects Export Settings, they can choose which columns are included in the export.

• The columns in the Show Columns section will be included in the export.
• The columns in the Hide Columns section will be excluded from the export.
• The Export Settings apply to all users
• The Export Settings only apply to the current Price Model or Price Agreement.
• The Export Settings apply in both the inline export and Bulk Data Service export.

By exporting only relevant fields for a price model, CPQ Pricing Portal supports a business user experience for pricing maintenance and lessens the need for specialized technical skills to manage this data.
