Standard ABO: Asset Action Log History

The Asset Action Log History currently includes entries created when the New action is invoked. Beginning in Oracle CPQ 26A, Standard ABO will include additional log entries through REST API for the following the asset actions:

• Modify
• Renew
• Resume
• Suspend
• Terminate

 Asset action log entries are created for action invocation from the Asset Workbench, Oracle Subscription, and REST API.

The Asset action log history aids in tracking and troubleshooting assets.

Steps to Enable and Configure

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

• When a model Bill of Materials (BOM) is modified , an action log entry is created only when the Add to Transaction action is invoked from Configuration UI. An action log entry is not logged when modify is invoked from the Asset UI page.
• Asset action log entries will include only root asset keys.
