Enable CPQ Quotes and Quote Lines in Adaptive Search

With this release, Oracle CPQ is now integrated with Adaptive Search. You can enable Adaptive Search for CPQ Quote and Quote Line objects, unlocking powerful search and filtering capabilities. Benefit from features such as keyword and fuzzy search, advanced filters, and range and term aggregations. This enhancement makes it easier to quickly find, filter, and analyze your CPQ quotes and quote lines, improving efficiency and data accessibility.

  • Enables reps to locate and refine quotes and line items in seconds, reducing time spent searching and shortening response times to customers.
  • Increase pipeline hygiene and forecast confidence by quickly identifying stalled quotes, outliers, duplicates, and items requiring approval.
  • Empower self-service quick analysis for sales, operations, and finance, lowering reliance on IT and ad-hoc data pulls. 
  • Scale with growth: Adaptive Search is optimized for large quote volumes, maintaining performance as data expands.

Steps to enable and configure

  1. Opt-in FA CPQ. 
  2. Make sure the desired Quote Processes are Deployed. 
  3. Login as a user with Application Implementation Consultant role and go to Configure Adaptive Search setup task. 
  4. Here you should be able to see the deployed processes under CPQ section. 
  5. Enable the ones that you need to be available in Adaptive Search. 
  6. You can go to Advanced tab and enable / disable other features. For for info, refer to Adaptive Search Configuration Guide
  7. Do a Full Publish or you can do a Partial publish adding the newly selected objects to be part of partial publish. 

Once publish process completes, these CPQ processes will be available in the Adaptive Search.
