Enable CPQ Parts, Model and BOM in Adaptive Search
Enable sales users to find and use CPQ catalog data directly from Adaptive Search. This enhancement indexes CPQ Parts, Models, and Bills of Material (BOM) so they can be searched using Adaptive Search providing superior performance. You can do improved filtering, fuzzy searching and range and term aggregations. This enhancement makes it easier to quickly find, filter, and manage your CPQ product catalog, improving efficiency and data accessibility.

Steps to enable and configure
Here are the steps to enable this feature:
- Opt-in FA CPQ.
- Login as a user with Application Implementation Consultant role and go to Configure Adaptive Search setup task.
- Here you should be able to see Part, Model as well as BOM as separate entities under the CPQ section.
- Enable the ones that you need to be available in Adaptive Search.
- You can go to Advanced tab and enable / disable OOTB as well as custom fields and also manager other features. For for info, refer to Adaptive Search Configuration Guide.
- Do a Full Publish or you can do a Partial publish adding the newly selected objects to be part of partial publish.
Once publish process completes, these CPQ objects will be available in the Adaptive Search.
