Estimate Compensation Conversationally using AI Agent

Use AI agent for Participants and Participant Managers to estimate compensation conversationally. Ask the agent conversationally how much incentive you can potentially make if you close a deal. The agent will look at your assigned plans and ask for all the required information to accurately estimate your compensation. You can revise your information, play around with numbers to figure out your compensation for different revised scenarios and then make informed choices.

To use this runnable agent, just expose it it any redwood page accessible to participants and participant managers. Once the agent is invoked, you can ask questions like: How much will I make if I sell 500K of Green Servers at ABC Systems on 10-Mar-2026? or if I close the deal at ABC systems on 3/10/2026, how much will I make? Based on the level of information you provide, the agent will either come back asking for more information to estimate or if it has all the information, it will estimate the compensation and provide you with an answer.

When a participant logs in, they can only estimate compensation for themselves. When a participant manager logs in, they can estimate compensation for themselves as well as the participants reporting to them.

Use this agent to motivate your sellers by letting them easily estimate compensation for different what-if scenarios and helping them make an informed choice.

Steps to enable and configure

Exposing the agent in the UI

Create a Sandbox by navigating to Configuration - Sandboxes and ensure that it is publishable and it includes Application Composer as a tool.
Enter the newly created Sandbox
Open the Application Composer Tool by navigating to Tools - Application Composer
Access "Smart Actions" within application composer
Click "Create" to create a new smart action.
Select "Global Action".
Provide a name for the smart action. Example: Estimate Incentives.
Select "Sales" as the application
Under parent object select from "Payee Portal" or any other page depending on where you would like to make the agent visible to the participant.
Select Action Type as "Agent Team" and Agent Team Code as COMPENSATION_ESTIMATION_ASSISTANT.
Leave the Confirmation message After Action Execution blank and click Continue.
Click "Submit"
Publish the Sandbox
The Agent will now be ready for use in the selected pages.
