Standard ABO: Support for Delta Charges

Oracle CPQ 26C introduces delta charge visibility for Standard ABO. Delta charges compare current transaction values against prior asset values during Modify and Renew workflows.

The enhancement spans CPQ APIs, Redwood setup controls, and transaction UI behavior for main document and sub-document currency attributes, including support for positive and negative deltas and rolled-up values at model and root levels.

Feature Highlights:

  • Delta charge is $0 on initial configuration and initial punch-in, then displays on reconfiguration for modified assets and quantity updates.
  • Delta values can be positive or negative and are independent of action code, including the no-update action code ('-').
  • Deltas are supported at part, model root levels when pricing or quantity changes exist; root can show cumulative rolled-up deltas.
  • A Show Delta boolean attribute is supported for main document and subdocument currency attributes, including attribute sets and array sets, with default value false.
  • Standard process updates include new subdocument currency and array-set attributes (for example, _s_delta_priceType_l, _s_delta_priceTypeValue_l, _s_delta_contractValueNetRollup_l, and oRCL_deltaChargeAttributes) and related commerce library updates.
