View Requisition Document History

You can now view document history for a requisition in the Responsive Self Service Procurement application. You can view a list of actions performed on a requisition, including the type of action and when and by whom they were performed. Document history can include approvals, orders associated with the requisition, any changes processed on the orders, and other actions, including cancellation or returned requisition by the buyer.

You can access this feature using the View Document History option on the My Requisitions page.

With this feature, you can review these actions that were taken on the requisition:

  • Requisition submission
  • Requisition cancellation
  • Approval actions such as approve, reject, request more information or reassigning the approval request to others
  • Buyer modification to the requisition
  • Downstream document events including purchase orders, change orders or transfer order creation
  • Supplier acceptance or rejection of an order

You can also have a compact summary of various lifecycle actions or view details for specific events.

Using the feature, you can review actions taken on a requisition chronologically. This helps establish an audit trail detailing how a requisition has traversed through the procurement process.

Steps to Enable

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

Offering: Procurement

If you want to use the View Requisition Document History feature, then you must opt in to its parent feature: Procure Goods and Services Using the Responsive Self Service Procurement Application. If you’ve already opted into this parent feature, then you don’t have to opt in again.

Tips And Considerations

  • Click the Purchase Order or Transfer Order number link to navigate to the corresponding order detail or change order (in case of Purchase Order) page.
  • Document history is available for all requisitions, whether created using the Responsive application or otherwise.
