Process Outbound Shipments Using a Mobile Device

Getting outbound orders packed and prepped for carrier pickup efficiently is a key step to fulfilling your customer's orders on time. When multiple shipping agents conduct these activities across multiple loading docks, providing each one with a workstation to enter data can waste critical warehouse space. Alternatively, having the shipping agents share a few workstations can lead to late data entry and backed-up orders. Now your shipping agents can process outbound shipments using a mobile device. They can scan or enter a shipment or order number, review lines assigned to the shipment, pack the assigned lines into packing units, update shipment or shipment line data, split shipment lines, assign or unassign shipment lines to the shipment, and confirm the shipment all from a mobile device.

You can access the Ship Goods page by clicking the Inventory Management (New) menu entry under the Supply Chain Execution navigation group. Alternatively, you can navigate to the page by selecting the Ship Goods (Mobile) task from the quick actions.

The page displays all shipment lines assigned to the shipment. You can validate the item and quantities in the shipment and perform shipment confirmation.
