Initiate Change Orders for Requisitions with Multiple Distributions

You can now create and manage change orders for requisitions with multiple distributions from the Responsive Self Service Procurement application. You can do this by setting the Requester Change Orders Managed on Redwood Page profile option to No. Before this release, you could manage change orders only for requisitions with a single distribution from the Responsive Self Service Procurement application.

You can use this feature as a requester to also update order information that can't be managed using the Redwood page, such as adding a new line to the order.

Steps to Enable

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

Offering: Procurement

1. If you want to use the Initiate Change Orders for Requisitions with Multiple Distributions feature, then you must opt in to its parent feature: Procure Goods and Services Using the Responsive Self Service Procurement Application. If you’ve already opted in to this parent feature, then you don’t have to opt in again.

2. To create or edit change orders for requisitions with multiple distributions, follow these steps:
   1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, search and select the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.
   2. On the Manage Administrator Profile Values page, search for and select the Requester Change Orders Managed on Redwood Page (ORA_POR_RCO_REDWOOD_ENABLED)  profile option name or code.
   3. Set the Profile Value to No.
   4. Click Save and Close. Changes in the profile value will affect users the next time they sign in.

Tips And Considerations

You can keep the default setting of the profile option, which is set to Yes, if you don't have to manage change orders for requisitions with multiple distributions. This allows you to manage change orders through the Redwood page.

Access Requirements

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains these privileges can access this feature:

• Manage Requisition with the Responsive Self Service Procurement Application (POR_MANAGE_REQ_WITH_PWA_PRIV).
• Change Purchase Order as Procurement Requester (PO_CHANGE_PURCHASE_ORDER_AS_PROCUREMENT_REQUESTER_PRIV), to create a change order on a purchase order.

These privileges were available prior to this update.
