Use the new Estimates Redwood UI to easily search for and create new estimates for depot repair, field service and part sales, and returns and exchanges.

You can search for existing estimates based on attributes such as estimate number, estimate status, estimate expiration date, document type, document number, item, or asset. Once you find an estimate, click Manage Estimates. In the Estimates page, review the added parts, labor, expenses, and other related information.

Create a new estimate by clicking Create Estimate in the Estimates search page. Enter the Document Type, Document Number, customer information, Estimate Expiration Date, and so on to create the estimate header. Click Create Estimate Details to enter details such as parts, labor, expenses, and fixed charges. For each added estimate line, click the hyperlinked Amount to review the amount for the item, the applied subscription coverages, and subscriptions in the Review Charge Amount drawer. From this drawer, you can open the Edit Charges drawer by clicking Edit next to the Your Price column and apply manual adjustments. In the Estimates details page, click Edit Details to open the Edit Estimate drawer, where you can also review the header information, update the estimate status, provide a reason for the status update, and make changes to other attributes.

Use these new Estimates Redwood UIs to perform all estimate-related operations intuitively and easily, as in the following example:

Example

A field service administrator needs to provide an estimate for a repair job. They create an estimate by entering header information and adding the items required for the repair, which they can then share with the customer. Depending on the customer feedback, the administrator can search for the estimate and make modifications.
