Create Requisitions to Order Locally
You can now source requisitions against agreements that are set to process orders locally in the Responsive Self Service Procurement application. If the requisition is sourced to an agreement that is 'Order Locally' enabled, any purchase order will be created in the same business unit as the requisition. This means the requisitioning business unit will also be used as the procurement business unit to create and process the order.
You can select an agreement that is 'Order Locally' enabled when creating a requisition using the Enter Requisition Line flow or allow the application to source the agreement automatically when processing the requisition.
Steps to Enable
Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.
Offering: Procurement
If you want to use the Create Requisitions to Order Locally feature, then you must opt in to its parent feature: Procure Goods and Services Using the Responsive Self Service Procurement Application. If you’ve already opted in to this parent feature, then you don’t have to opt in again.
Tips And Considerations
- To create requisitions based on agreement lines that are "Order locally" enabled, the requisitioning business unit must also have the procurement business function assigned.
