Redwood: Manage Consumption Rules Using a Redwood Page
Consumption rules enable you to specify when the ownership change, or consumption, of consigned inventory occurs for implicit consumption transactions. Now you have the ability to manage your consumption rules using a Redwood page.
You can access the Consumption Rules task to create or update your consumption rules from the Setup and Maintenance work area.
Using the new Consumption Rules page, you can:
- Search for and view existing consumption rules
- Create new, update existing, or delete existing consumption rules
Consumption Rules
You can create a new consumption rule or update an existing consumption rule by entering the required data.

This feature provides you the ability to manage your consumption rules with an improved user experience.
Steps to Enable
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Access Requirements
Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains these privileges can access this feature:
- Manage Inventory Consumption Rule (INV_MANAGE_INVENTORY_CONSUMPTION_RULE_PRIV)
- View Inventory Transaction List of Values by Web Service (INV_VIEW_INVENTORY_TRANSACTION_LOV_WEB_SERVICE_PRIV)
- View Inventory Organizations List of Values by Web Service (RCS_VIEW_INV_ORG_LOV_WEB_SERVICE_PRIV)
- View Subinventory and Locator List of Values by Web Service (INV_VIEW_SUBINVENTORY_LOCATOR_LOV_WEB_SERVICE_PRIV)
- View Owning Party Site List of Values by Web Service (INV_VIEW_OWNING_PARTY_SITE_LOV_WEB_SERVICE_PRIV)
- Get Item Rest (EGP_GET_ITEM_REST_PRIV)
