View Assigned Operations and Expedited Work Orders at a Workstation
When operators check in to a workstation to begin production, they need information on the work order operations that should be executed at the workstation. With this update, operators can view the list of operations assigned to their workstation by the production supervisor.
If a supervisor expedites an order during the shift to support an ad-hoc request, the operations in the expedited work orders move to the top of the list and are visible to the operators when they access the workstation queue during production.

As soon as operators check in to their workstations, they know the work orders that they are supposed to work on. Any changes during production automatically become part of the workflow and do not need to be manually communicated.
Here's the demo of these capabilities:
Steps to Enable
Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.
Offering: Manufacturing and Supply Chain Materials Management No Longer Optional From: Update 25C
You must opt in the Monitor Workstation Performance When Supervising Production feature (25A) to automatically enable this feature. Production supervisors can assign operations, quantities, and enforce the sequence of operations at a workstation through the Production Supervision task in the Work Execution work area.
Tips And Considerations
- Production supervisors can select the enforcement level for operations assignment from the Smart Operations Configurations task. On the Configuration Parameters tab, set the Work Order Operation Assignment parameter under Workstation execution. The available options are Enforced, Enforced with Sequence, and Not Enforced.
- Expedited work orders appear at the top of the sequence by default.
- If operation assignment is enforced with sequence, then operators only see the operation at the top of the operation assignment sequence.
- Assigned operations can be filtered by expedited work orders to view and execute operations in expedited work orders only.
