Redwood: Navigate to Impacted Work Definitions in the Redwood User Experience Using the Item Structure Change Notification
Prior to this update, you could search for and manage work definitions using Redwood pages without using the item structure change notification to initiate the review process. The Process Item Structure Changes to Work Definitions scheduled process automatically synchronizes item structure changes to the manufacturing work definitions where applicable, and in some scenarios, sends a worklist notification for a manufacturing engineer to take action. Now you can navigate to the impacted work definitions in the Redwood user experience by using the hyperlink in the Process Item Structure Changes to Work Definitions notification.
On the Redwood page for Work Definitions, you can search for the item, structure name, and work definition as of date to find the work definition versions that need review. From the item structure change notification, you can review the detailed changes and decide whether to edit an existing work definition version or create a new work definition version based on when the item structure changes become effective in Product Information Management.
