New Profile Option for Item Validation Organization
A new profile option ORA_SUS_ITEM_VALIDATION_ORG_CODE is introduced that serves the same purpose as that of the old profile option ORA_SUS_ITEM_VALIDATION_ORG. The inventory organization you select for the profile option is used to validate sustainability activities or emission factor mappings that you create for a specific item. The new profile option has been introduced to allow the profile value to be exported from one environment to another, by using the Export and Import options from the Setup and Maintenance work area.
The following tables list the old and new profile options. You can access both these profile options by using the Manage Sustainability Profile Options task in the Setup and Maintenance work area.
Old Profile Option
Profile Option Code | Profile Display Name | Description |
---|---|---|
ORA_SUS_ITEM_VALIDATION_ORG | Obsolete: Item Master Validation Organization | Obsolete. Use ORA_SUS_ITEM_VALIDATION_ORG_CODE profile instead |
New Profile Option
Profile Option Code | Profile Display Name | Description |
---|---|---|
ORA_SUS_ITEM_VALIDATION_ORG_CODE | Item Validation Organization | Specify the item's master validation organization |

Tips And Considerations
- The new profile option replaces the old one and will automatically be set to the same value as the previous profile option if a value for the old profile option was specified earlier.
- The old profile option is obsolete and will no longer be used starting from release 25A. Setting or modifying the value for the obsoleted profile option will have no effect.
