Table Organizer and Multiple Add to Cart and Shopping List
This feature allows you to see more matching search results, minimizing the need for scrolling. From the list view, you can add multiple items to your cart or private shopping list at once using the 'Add to Cart' and 'Add to Shopping List' buttons. Additionally, you can adjust the quantity directly on the Search Results page before adding items to your cart.
Steps to Enable
Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.
Offering: Procurement
If you want to use the View Search Results in a List View During Shopping feature, then you must opt in to one or both of these features:
- Enable the Redwood Version as the Default Self Service Procurement Application: Makes the Purchase Requisitions (New) work area available to all your users, and hides the Purchase Requisitions work area from all your users.
- Procure Goods and Services Using the Redwood Self Service Procurement Application: Keeps the Purchase Requisitions work area available to all your users, and makes the Purchase Requisitions (New) work area available to the users who are assigned this privilege: Manage Requisition with the Responsive Self Service Procurement Application (POR_MANAGE_REQ_WITH_PWA_PRIV).
If you’ve already opted in, then you don’t have to opt in again.
Tips And Considerations
- You can configure the Display Setting feature in your Preferences to set a default view for search results. This setting will apply to all business units for a given user.
- You can toggle between the two views using the toggle switch on the Search Results page.
- The default view for displaying shopping search results is Card View. Application Administrators can change the default view for displaying shopping search results for all users to Table View by setting the Table View Enabled for Catalog Shopping Search Results (ORA_POR_SHOP_SEARCH_TABLE_VIEW_ENABLED) profile option.
- You can use the Table Organizer button to reorder columns and add or remove columns from the default view. By default, any attributes you add will be placed at the end of the list. You will need to manually reorder the columns to achieve your desired layout.
- These columns are hidden by default:
- Manufacturer
- Manufacturer Part Number
- Agreement
- Item Source
- The Packaging String and Internally Orderable columns will only be available to be added if the relevant opt ins are enabled.
- Smart-form based items, punchout items, preferred source items, and information catalogs can't be added using the multiple selections and to cart flow.
- The List view for search results is enabled for extensibility using business rules.
- Guided Journey for the Card View and List View page remains the same.
