Redwood: Enter Miscellaneous Transactions on a Mobile Device Using a Streamlined Flow

When performing miscellaneous transactions using a mobile device, you need to quickly move from item to item scanning or entering the minimal amount of information required to perform the transaction. In this update, the mobile miscellaneous transaction flow includes multiple changes that streamline the process and allow you to perform these transactions more efficiently. 

You can now select the Account and Reason at the start of the transaction.

A switcher has been added at the top of the Miscellaneous Issue - Scan Item page, allowing you to choose whether to begin entering details with either the subinventory or item.

If you start with the subinventory, you'll proceed with entering the item, locator, and quantity. After adding an item to the list, you'll remain on the Misecellaneous Issue - Scan Item page, and the Subinventory field will default from the last added line.

Alternatively, if you start with the item, you'll enter the subinventory, locator, and quantity. Once an item is added to the list, you'll remain on the Miscellaneous Issue - Scan Item page.

Additionally, the Miscellaneous Issue - Scan Item page has been enhanced to include these fields: Manufacturer, Manufacturer Part Number, Project, Task, Country of Origin, Owning Party Site, Owning Party, Procurement BU, Secondary Quantity, Secondary UOM, Packaging String, and Reason.

This feature helps your warehouse operators save valuable time by performing their miscellaneous transactions much faster using a mobile device.

Steps to Enable

You need to enable the newly added fields using business rules in Oracle Visual Builder Studio.

• Create Miscellaneous Transaction Using Responsive Inventory Duty (ORA_INV_CREATE_MISCELLANEOUS_ISSUE_PWA_DUTY).
