Redwood: Confirm Picks Using a Mobile Device with an Improved User Experience
Confirming your open lines to pick is a critical step in the fulfillment process, and using a mobile device to confirm these open picking lines provides you the ability to execute them efficiently in real time. Prior to this update, in order to initiate picking activities, your users had to know or scan a specific pick slip or order number. Now, you have the ability to search for and view open pick slips using attributes like the pick slip type, the order's destination subinventory, item, and more. Additionally, once a pick slip is selected and opened, you can select all lines on the pick slip at once to begin pick confirming goods, or you can scan an item barcode to enter the pick confirm details for that specific item. Last, when entering the pick confirm details for a specific item, you can now view more pick line details such as the manufacturer, manufacturer part number, and packaging string for that item.
Search for open pick slips using various search criteria provided by the Advanced Search option of the Context drop down, and view the results categorized by due date: past due, due today, or due in the future.
Pick Slip Advanced Search
After selecting a pick slip from the search results, you can choose to pick all the items at once or select specific items to pick.
Pick All or Selected Items
You can filter picks by scanning an item's barcode and picking all lines for that specific item within the pick slip.
Filter Picks by Item
You can view additional line details such as the Manufacturer Part Number, Packaging String, Project Number, Task Number, and Kanban Card in the Other Details section.
Additional Line Details
This feature removes the requirement to print paper pick slips to complete pick confirm operations, as well as improves the efficiency of the pick confirm process, which saves you time and reduces your operating costs.
