Redwood: Use Improved Sorting of Source Picking Locations During Pick Confirm
When confirming open picking lines, moving efficiently through the warehouse is crucial to smooth operations. Jumping from aisle to aisle and retracing your steps leads to wasted time and potential collisions between multiple picking agents. Therefore, you need a way for your picking agents to sort open picking lines in a logical order when confirming picks using a mobile device. Prior to this release, when agents were picking using a mobile device, they could group the open picking lines by source or destination subinventory. But if the subinventory was locator controlled, the lines could appear in a random locator order. Now you have the ability to sort the open picking lines in a pick slip by ascending or descending locator order when you're confirming picks using a mobile device.
Sorting of Picks by Subinventory and Locator
This feature gives your picking agents the ability to move more efficiently throughout the warehouse when completing picking tasks.
