Redwood: Next Generation User Experience for Service Logistics Landing Page

The new Service Logistics landing page includes a more intuitive user interface and is easier to navigate. Select one of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tabs, Work Orders Ready to Post or Estimates in Progress, to view a list of documents that meet the KPI criteria. Click a document link to view the document details or use the search field to find other documents outside of the KPI criteria.

The following list describes the KPI criteria used for each tab:

  1. Work Orders Ready to Post: This tab displays the total number of work orders, including service work orders and third-party work orders, which are not yet posted. Each work order is also listed individually, and you can click each work order Document Number to navigate to the work order charges Details page for review and further actions. Click View By to filter the work orders ready to post by Work Order Area.
  2. Estimates in Progress: This tab displays the total number of estimates in progress, which includes all estimates that do not have a status of Approved or Cancelled. Click an Estimate Number to view an estimate’s Details page.

Click one of the frequently used, pinned actions in the Actions region. Click View all actions to see a list of all available actions.

NOTE: You must have the Field Service Administrator role to use the landing page. Landing pages for other roles are planned for subsequent releases.

The new landing page enables you to quickly find issues that need your attention and require action.

For example, as a field service administrator, when you open the landing page for your work order area, you can quickly find work orders with errors, view their details, and take action. You can also find estimates which are not yet approved, update them as needed, and submit them for approval.

Steps to Enable

Set the new profile option ORA_RCL_LANDING_PAGE_REDWOOD_ENABLED to Yes.
