Complete Work Order Operation Quantities into Inventory During Work Execution at a Workstation
When executing production at a workstation, operators can now complete operation quantities to inventory by entering the details of the subinventory and locator for completed quantities. This lets the operators complete the process from the workstation, so that the operators do not have to use multiple interfaces to perform this task. Operators can perform completions for work orders referencing a specific project or a task. With this update, you can:
- Scan or enter the lot and serial information of assembly items while completing them to inventory.
- Generate serial or lot numbers, when required, for completing items into inventory.
Complete to Inventory During Work Execution at a Workstation
Operators can leverage a unified user experience to complete all execution and reporting actions, improving their productivity.
Here's the demo of these capabilities:

Tips And Considerations
- You can generate lot and serial numbers required for finished goods while reporting the completion transaction in the last operation.
- With this update, the requirement to preassign lot and serial numbers to a work order prior to execution at a workstation has been relaxed and is no longer a prerequisite.
